Submission
Guidelines
You are
welcome to send in submissions but please be aware that most of our series
are creator owned so it will be up to the individual writers to consider
your work. Also, understand and assume that most of the books will
therefore be operating on a royalty basis. There are always
exceptions, of course, but that depends on the writer and the project.
Digital Files
Best way is to send a link to where we can see your artwork on the web.
We don't want to be downloading files. The only way we will download
files is we are in communication from you and we expect the files,
otherwise, the email with the attached files will be deleted.
Mailed Copies
You can send hardcopies. Make sure the package is neat and all
together. If you do not include a self addressed stamped envelope,
you will not get your artwork back and you will not get a reply.
Send an envelope only (stamped and addressed) if you want a reply.
If you want art returned, send a large enough envelope to hold the art and
the appropriate postage.
Guidelines:
We are in the publishing
business, not the evaluation business. Sorry, we do not have the
time to critque your work. It is either good enough...or not.
We are always behind deadlines so it may take awhile to get a reply.
Do Not call us about the submission.
Make sure
you understand what type of comics and books that we do. You should
only be sending material that is suitable for us. Sending blanket
submissions to all publishers is a waste of everyone's time.
We believe
that our artists should be entitled to do the covers of thier own books so
we rarely have a need for cover artists.
For the
anthology of Negative Burn, we like to get complete stories in.
