Ron Marz left a promising career in journalism when he realized he liked making up stories rather than just reporting them. Since then, he’s written for every major American comics publisher, including lengthy runs on Green Lantern for DC and Silver Surfer for Marvel, numerous Star Wars stories for Dark Horse, and a stint as Senior Writer for CrossGen Comics, where he was nominated for a Harvey Award for Best Writer for his work on Scion. Current projects include Witchblade
for Top Cow, Blade of Kumori for Devil’s Due’s, and
two-creator-owned projects at Dark Horse, the historical epic Samurai:
Heaven & Earth, and the modern fantasy Dragon Prince.
For Desperado, he is
launching his creator owned series of RUSSIAN SUNSET with artist Mirko
Colak.
His menagerie includes
a lovely wife, three beautiful children, three horses and two dogs.
