Hamner (genus redhedicus quarlio) is distinguished in the wild by his
unique mating call and colorful plumage. Encyclopedia Britannica lists
him as the artist of major projects like Batman: Tenses (with Joe
Casey) and Red (with Warren Ellis), both for DC Comics, and he has in
the past been spotted in places like The Ride, Green Lantern, X-Men,
The Titans, The Authority, and Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. He is
friendly, curious, and does not bite. And yes, you may pet him.
